Remember to subtract the thickness of your tabletop when selecting your leg or base height.
Example: if your tabletop is 2" thick and you are building a 30" tall dining table, you will choose 28" for the height of your table legs or base.

WIDTH
The proper width of your legs or base can vary depending on preference and use. A safe rule of thumb is for the legs to be at least two-thirds of the width of the tabletop
Example: if your tabletop is 36" wide, the legs should be 24" or wider, depending on aesthetic preference. Please contact us if you need help with sizing.
