Choosing Dimensions +

HEIGHT

  • Remember to subtract the thickness of your tabletop when selecting your leg or base height.
  • Example: if your tabletop is 2" thick and you are building a 30" tall dining table, you will choose 28" for the height of your table legs or base.
  • Standard finished heights below, subtract tabletop thickness to calculate proper leg or base height.

WIDTH A

  • Our Quad series table bases work best when Width A is at least 2/3s the width of the table top.
  • Example: if your tabletop is 36” wide, the base should be 24” or wider, depending on aesthetic preference.

WIDTH B

  • This width can be made the same as Width A to accommodate square and round tables, or extended for rectangular and oval tabletops.
  • If extended, Width B should allow for at least 12” of overhang on the ends of the tabletop to allow for seating room.
  • Example: if your tabletop is 72” long, Width B should be 48”. Please contact us if you need help with sizing to optimize stability and seating room.

Raw Steel

Our most industrial option, Raw Steel has the rustic charm of the raw materials it’s made from. Small surface imperfections are present along with heat discoloration near the welds and grind marks where they have been ground flat. This finish is perfect for those who want a one-of-a-kind rustic industrial look. It’s also a good choice if you plan to apply your own finish. Raw Steel will rust over time.

Mounting Plates

Flat Plate

3/16” thick, 5” x your chosen width. Our standard Flat Plate comes with 5/16” x 1” slotted holes to accommodate seasonal wood movement. It is a solid solution for attaching the legs or base to your tabletop.

Full Frame

With complete tube steel construction, the Full-Frame option provides maximum stability and tabletop support with a cohesive, unified aesthetic. 5/16” x 1” slotted mounting holes accommodate seasonal wood movement and 1" round botomm access holes in the tube steel allow for hidden hardware.
